Alan Wieder is a producer, writer, and visual artist in Los Angeles. As a producer, he was the creative force behind some of reality tv's biggest hits, including Joe Millionaire, My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé, The Apprentice, and Chrisley Knows Best. He's written feature films for Universal, Summit, and Warner Brothers and published two books.
He recently created and produced a hit Wondery true crime podcast, "The Donut Shop Murders," a disturbing account of a serial-killing family who murdered up to 20 women in the early 70s. He has unscripted projects set up at various production companies and networks
